My goal is to ensure your shopping experience is as seamless as possible, and you receive your new artwork quickly and securely.

The following terms and conditions outline my personal ‘satisfaction guarantee’ and our shipping and returns policies.

My personal goal is that you are 100% satisfied with your new artwork. I guarantee that you will be, and I am happy to work with you if you are less than satisfied or remain uncertain with your purchase.

 

Shipping Policy

Shipping Timelines

For artwork shipped within Italy

All artworks will ship within 5-7 business days of receiving the final payment.  

For artwork exported from Italy

To ensure compliance with Italian export laws, a brief bureaucratic process is required for shipping artworks. This involves me, as the artist, obtaining customs approval from the Italian government, which typically takes between one and two weeks. Rest assured, this is solely my responsibility, and once certification is obtained, your painting will be shipped within 3-5 business days.

No further action is required from you, other than patience.

Sustainable Packaging

I prioritize sustainability in every aspect of my business, including packaging and shipping. Your artwork is carefully packaged using environmentally sustainable materials, all sourced from recycled materials, including the bubble wrap. After unwrapping your new artwork, all packaging materials can be fully recycled by you.

Packaging Small and Medium Artworks

Once you have completed your purchase, I will take the utmost care when packaging your new piece for shipment, taking the following steps to protect your painting:

  • The face side and painted edges of the painting will be covered with acid-free glassine paper, to provide an additional layer of protection within the outer packaging.

  • The painting will then be fully wrapped in a heavy-grade paper.

  • All corners will be protected with foam or cardboard padding.

  • Finally, extra padding will be added before placing it in a sturdy, double-wall cardboard box for shipping.

Packaging Larger Artworks

All artwork where one or more sides exceeds 80 cm will be removed from the stretcher bars.  The painting will be rolled and shipped in a tube.  It can then be stretched onto new bars at your local framing shop.  

This is done solely for ease in shipping, thereby reducing the risk of potential damage in transit and keeping the shipping costs reasonable.  Should you wish to ship a large painting on its stretcher bars, please contact me to receive a shipping quote and to make final arrangements.

Local Shipping Rates (Continental European Union)

I offer flat rate shipping on all artworks (80 cm or less on the longest side), to any residential address in the continental European Union.  To any address in Italy, the cost will be €25,00.  To all other countries within the continental European Union, the cost will be €50,00.

Shipping may be provided by any one of several available shipping providers, of my chosing at the time of your shipment. All shipments will be made using the most efficient and cost-effective shipping route, via reputable shipping agencies such as Poste Italiane, DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc. You will receive a tracking number via email once it has shipped.

International Shipping Rates

My paintings can be shipped to most countries. I offer flat rate shipping on all artworks (80 cm or less on the longest side), to any residential address in non-continental Europe (i.e., Great Britain, Scotland, Ireland, Australia, Canada, U.S.A., etc.). The cost will be €75,00.  

To obtain a shipping quote for larger artworks outside continental Europe, please contact me.

Customs and Duties

Orders that are shipped to countries outside of Italy may be subject to import taxes, customs tariffs, and/or additional fees levied by the destination country or the shipping company. These charges are the collector’s responsibility and will be billed by the delivery company for the collector to take possession of the package. 

I have no control over these charges and am unable to estimate them. Tariffs and taxes are neither collected nor included in the price calculation at the time of your order. For an estimate of these fees, which vary by destination, contact the customs office in your home country.

Local Pick-up and Delivery

Local pick-up from my studio is always available.  Please contact me to make arrangements.

Local delivery of larger artworks, within 100 km of studio, is also an option.  Again, please get in touch to make arrangements for this service.

 

Return Policy

I am committed to the satisfaction of my collectors and every purchase comes with a 'money-back guarantee'! However, as I am an independent artist, there are a few exceptions that I need to have in place.

Once you have received your original artwork, you have five (5) days to decide whether it works for you in your space. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to request a return and full refund, within the five (5) days, subject to the refund policy below.

If your artwork is damaged in transit, please contact me immediately so we can make it right. Additional details follow, regarding artwork damaged in transit.

Refunds

Should you have any concerns about the artwork, kindly reach out to me to discuss the situation. If you wish to return the artwork, please ensure it is sent back to me in its original condition and packaging, within five (5) days of receipt.

Please note that the cost of return shipping is your responsibility, and the artwork must be insured for its full value during transit. It's crucial to handle the artwork with care, both during unpacking and repacking.

Once I receive and inspect the returned artwork, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method. You'll receive an email confirmation once the refund has been processed. Please be aware that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to finalize the refund.

Damaged in Transit

Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact me immediately if the item is damaged in transit, or if you receive the wrong item.

If the external packaging is damaged, kindly photograph the packaging prior to opening. Then, carefully open the packaging and photograph any damage to the artwork(s). Contact me right away so that we can evaluate the situation, determine next steps, and make it right for you.

Lost/Stolen in Transit

As the purchaser of one of my paintings, it is your sole responsibility to track and claim the package I send you. Refunds will not be provided, nor am I responsible for, lost or stolen packages that have been delivered by the courier, or items not received due to an incorrect shipping address being provided by you.

Returned Packages

A refund will not be provided if your package is returned to me by the post office or courier company. It is common practice for these companies to return packages to the sender, after they remain unclaimed for a certain number of days, determined by them. If your package remains unclaimed in any postal office or courier service in your country/region/area, and is subsequently returned to me, I will notify you via email to proceed with a second shipment of your package.

All subsequent shipping costs will be borne by the purchaser for the re-shipment of their package.
